The Canton Historical Wiki is supported through the bequest of Mr. Edward Bolster, and is predominantly the voluntary work of Mr. John Healey, a professional archivist and Canton resident. Like the more famous "Wikipedia" the Canton Historical Wiki is intended to grow with the help of people willing to share their knowledge and expertise... people like you who care about preserving the memory of Canton's past.  Whether you choose to become a contributing editor, or just wish to learn more about Canton's rich history, we hope that you will enjoy this resource.

The Library's latest service offering, Ancestry.com is available to patrons for use in the Library. It provides genealogical information from over 4,000 databases and four billion names and covers the U.S., U.K., Canada, Ireland, and other countries, from sources that include census data, maps, military, immigration, DAR records, slave stories, and more.

Wireless internet (Wi-Fi) is available in most areas of the Library with expanded coverage now accessible on the lower, main, and second floor levels.
