...Pleasant Street Paving project on going road work will continue from July 23rd to August 15th...The temporary use drop off of white goods, burnable bulk and household rubbish overflow that cannot fit in new trash cart, can be dropped off at Hudson Road ( left off of Shawmut) on paved cul-de-sac.  Individual containers for each type of these items will be made available. Residents are asked to place these items inside appropriate containers. Leaving any item outside of containers is prohibited...

Public Notice


The Canton Board of Selectmen is proud to announce the award of a $1.8 million grant to the assist with the reconstruction and streetscape improvements to Canton Center.  The largest PWED grant awarded thus far, Lieutenant Governor Healey and other state officials commented on the thoroughness of Canton’s application, and praised them for their persistence in pursuing the grant.  This Public Works Economic Development (PWED) grant will fund improvements to Canton Center that include new concrete and brick sidewalks, street trees, historic lighting, and “welcome” signs.  The improvements are expected to encourage more open space for Canton Center, Forge Pond, and the Canton River, as well as continue the ongoing downtown economic revitalization
