Storytimes The Junior Room offers Storytimes during the Fall and Spring. Children must be Canton residents. We offer different programs grouped by age: Toddler Storytimes: Ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 Toddler Storytime is a 25 minute program filled with picture books, songs and fingerplays. This is a time for parent and child to participate in activities together. For this reason the parent is asked to remain with the child. Pre-School Storytimes: Ages 3 /12 to 5 1/2 Pre-School storytimes last approximately 40 minutes. One parent must remain in the library during the program, though not in the Meeting Room itself. Crafts Craft programs are offered once a month during the school year on Saturdays at 2:30. Children must pre-register at the Junior Room Desk. This ensures that there will be enough materials for the children. The craft is geared for ages 6 - 10. During the summer, crafts are offered once a week on Wednesdays at 2:30. Pre-registration is also required.
