The Historic Fireplace Project
In 1902 two large fireplaces
were constructed as part of the original building.
We need your help restoring these graceful spaces back to their original
elegance.
Your donation will enable us to install gas fired ceramic logs and glass
protection screens.
Your donation will be a splendid and timeless reminder of the great
history of this unique Canton institution.
Technology Initiatives
Help create a library where information technology and educational technologies are at the forefront. Our new building will boast state-of-the-art research and projection technologies enabling this and future generations. Please consider funding technology needs for the Community Room or the Computer Training Facilities. Your gift will make the Canton Public Library a leader in information technology.
Historic Renovation Projects
There are a number of opportunities available to assist us in restoring the 1902 addition of the Canton Public Library. We are currently seeking funds that will enable us to replace the original Oak Floors in the West and East Reading Rooms. Imagine the sun dappled oak floors and the rich tones cast by the antique stone fireplaces. Your gift will be a lasting legacy to the people of Canton.
Edward Bolster Local History Room
Named in memory of it's benefactor,
the Ed Bolster Local History Room
will be an important element in discovering and researching the history
of Canton.
Please consider donating to this project so that we may appoint the
room with archival quality storage and fixtures that will meet the needs
of Canton's past, present and future.
