Groundbreaking Ceremonies

Sunday, June 23rd 2002

After more than five years of planning and fundraising, the Canton Public Library finally broke ground on the historic renovation and addition. Over 250 people attended the event held on the front lawn of the library. Festivities included a speaking program, a KidDig, site tours and light refreshments.

State Representative Bill Galvin, Library Director Mark Lague, Trustee Betty Chelmow, Trustee Marcia Connors, Trustee Susan Cogliano, Trustee Al Cronin, Trustee George T. Comeau & Reverend Augustus Hemenway break ground at the Canton Public Library.
