Private Study
The Private Study
Room located on the second floor of the library is reserved for individual study
or for groups not to exceed three in number. The minimum age required to use
the study room is eighteen. Positive identification is required.
Reservations are
for two hour blocks with the option to extend study time if available.
Reservations are
made on a first come/first served basis either in person or by telephone through
the Reference Desk. “Walk-ins” will be scheduled as time allows.
If a patron does
not check in within 15 minutes after a scheduled reservation, this time period
may be allotted to another patron as needed.
The key is
located at the Reference Desk and the room must be closed and locked whenever
vacating the room.
The room must be
left in a clean and orderly condition. Noise/discussion should be held to a
reasonable level as the room is not soundproof.
No food or
beverages, except water, is allowed in the study room.
Furniture may not
be rearranged, nor chairs brought into or removed from the study room. Windows
may not be obstructed.
The Private Study
Room is not to be used for social functions or for soliciting or selling
products or services.
The library
assumes no responsibility for items left in the room.
