Many Canton residents in need do not know where to turn for assistance or what resources are available to them. The Canton Helpline provides a way to connect Canton residents with available resources and services.
The Helpline can provide referrals to local social service agencies who can assist callers with basic needs such as food, clothing, furniture, and transportation. In addition, financial assistance is available to help with utility bills and fuel costs. The Helpline also can provide referrals for mental health assistance.
Your call will be answered by a qualified volunteer who will discuss any issues or concerns you are experiencing. All calls are confidential. After you have discussed possible solutions and alternatives, when appropriate, you will be referred to a Town of Canton community resource or other agency.
We are unable to offer rental or any housing financial assistance.
